Who am I?
Chemist, writer, artist, and general jack-of-all-trades.
No, seriously.
Right. I'm a weird little queer ADHD gremlin who's good at science and confusing straight bigots. I like making things, fixing things, learning things, and eating things. Currently I'm doing things like learning several languages, using an old letterpress printer I restored, sewing, fiber-arting, writing, papercrafting, and telling myself I do not need to take up more hobbies like bookbinding. Also I have a little garden on the miniscule balcony of my apartment, two cats, and a flatmate.
So what's this site for?
Sometimes I just want to share things without being mined for my data, you know? I guess AI could find this site, maybe, but I'm looking into finding ways to block that. For now, this is a space that's all mine. Mine, I say! But really. The internet used to be full of strange and wonderful and personalized places, and they got lost in the social media wave. I'm trying to find my own niche so I don't have to worry about everything I've contributed to the 'net getting wiped out if someone like Elon Musk gets unexpected diarrhea on his servers, or something.

This is for keeping you logged in (though right now I should have logins turned off, so that's moot) and for remembering preferences like how big you want the text input areas to be (if you had editing permissions, which, once again, should be turned off, so that's also moot).

I will never ask for any sort of payment information to sign up for anything on this site. If there eventually comes a tipping function (I don't see it coming anytime soon, the server costs right now are minimal), it will be clearly labelled as such.
